For my first nose surgery, I didn’t swell at all and it didn’t hurt, but maybe because of that, I had side effects: my nose moved to the left, clicking sounds, cartilage showing through, silicone showing through, shape changes, and drooping of the nasal tip, so I had revision surgery. After my first surgery, I went back to work from day 5, and no one could tell I had gotten my nose done at all (I did wear a mask). I had no swelling above my eyes. But this revision has some swelling, so I’m upset,, Day of surgery: I thought I was going to die because of the cotton packing. Even though I had the surgery in better condition than my first surgery, phlegm stuck between my nose and throat + not being able to breathe at all triggered cotton-packing panic. I couldn’t sleep even a wink. -> Poor condition because I couldn’t sleep, my throat hurt so much that I questioned life, and I deeply regretted getting revision surgery. Day 1: Slept for a 30-minute nap. The throat swelling got worse, so even breathing through my mouth/throat was very difficult. Around lunchtime, I went to the clinic and got a swelling injection + antibiotics. About 3 hours after coming home, I felt like I couldn’t go on like this. Cotton-packing panic was at its peak. In the end, I contacted the clinic about my current condition and went in. The director personally checked the situation and said that after removing the cotton packing, there was a lot of hemostasis, so it would be okay to remove it early. The left side barely bled, and on the right side, they pushed out the pooled blood from between the eyebrows and removed it, then took out the cotton packing. My nose opened up for a moment, but from that evening it became completely blocked again. -> My bronchial tubes are originally not great, and during my first surgery I even had a runny nose, so it was a harder situation for nose surgery, but I held up well.. But this time it was really so hard and my body started hurting too, so I had the cotton packing that’s usually removed on day 2 taken out after one day.. If bleeding had continued, they would have had to put the cotton back in and have me come back the next day to remove it, but the bleeding had almost stopped, so they just removed it for me. Day 2: Even after removing the cotton packing, the nasal congestion was the same.. Still, the throat swelling seemed to be slowly improving. I went to a nearby ENT clinic and got prescriptions for medication to open the nasal mucous membrane and throat medication (the clinic said it was okay to take them). There was almost no swelling, but starting in the evening my lips and cheeks began to swell. -> Unlike my expectation that I’d be fine once the cotton packing was removed, it wasn’t much different from when the cotton was still in. Still, after removing the cotton, my throat hurt less, so I slept about 5-6 hours. Day 3: I also have red bruising around my eyes. My nose is still completely blocked, but it also feels like it may have opened slightly more than yesterday.. They told me not to blow my nose, but my completely blocked nose is full of mucus, and I try to spit it out through my mouth, but my throat hurts so it’s hard to spit out. So I just opened the nasal mucous membrane with a cotton swab and gently blew my nose. It felt a bit clearer, but my nose quickly blocked again. I blew my nose 2-3 times, so the inside of my nose feels raw. I apply the prescribed ointment often and live under the humidifier. Blood does come out on the cotton swab, but I’m not actively bleeding. They say the reason they tell you not to blow your nose is because a blood vessel might burst, but if I blow gently, I think the blood vessels will be okay ,,, -> I think I’ve somewhat resigned myself to the nasal congestion symptoms,, It’s still hard, but I’ve gained a bit of the mental strength to tell myself I have to endure it. My throat pain is also a bit better. Tomorrow, as soon as I wake up, I’m planning to go to a nearby ENT clinic and get prescriptions for nasal congestion medicine + throat medicine. I attached photos too, so everyone, if you take a look and leave lots of comments, I’ll post again from day 4! And if you share lots of objective opinions about my current condition (columella shape, nose condition, etc.), I’ll also share the clinic + director + price~!
으헤헤헿 What material did you use for the revision?? Why do they say the nasal congestion is so severe? Is it an aftereffect of anesthesia?
쩌1o28 Where did you get it done!!? Did you do it at the same clinic?
