Double-Jaw Surgery Reviews@jaw-review

Why I Had Double-Jaw Surgery and Why I Chose EU Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery: 11-Month Double-Jaw Surgery …

It has already been 11 months since I had double-jaw surgery. At first, my jaw was rotated and my bite did not align, so I was very stressed both functionally and externally. I also had a severe protruding lower jaw, so I had been considering double-jaw surgery for a long time. However, because of the cost, recovery period, and the burden of surgery, I kept putting it off, but eventually I made a big decision and went ahead with it. I had heard many times that double-jaw surgery should be done at an oral and maxillofacial surgery clinic, so I received consultations at hospitals specializing in facial bones, and EU Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery felt especially trustworthy, so I decided to have surgery there. Right after double-jaw surgery, it really was not easy ㅠㅠ It was hard to breathe and the pain was severe, so all I could think was, time, please pass quickly… But as time passed, I gradually started to improve, and from days 2 to 3, my breathing and condition got a little better. By week 2, the stitches were removed and the wafer changed to a removable type, so it definitely became much more comfortable. Personally, month 4 was the turning point. The swelling had definitely gone down, and as the sensation of chewing food with my mouth slowly came back, I really felt, ah, now I’m truly recovering! People’s reactions also started getting better around that time haha. Externally, I could feel my facial line gradually settling into a softer and more natural shape. And now, as I enter month 11, it feels like my recovery is almost complete!! Most of the swelling has gone down, sensation has generally returned, and I have no discomfort in daily life. It looks much more natural when my face is expressionless or when I smile, and every time I take photos, I’m much more satisfied than before Especially compared with month 4, I hear a lot that my face now looks much more stable and that my overall impression has become softer. Right after I had double-jaw surgery, I wondered, will this really get better…? But as time passed and I watched my body recover on its own, I felt and learned a lot. Functionally, I’m very satisfied, and externally, I have gained confidence. Now I really think it was the right choice!! I hope this review helps those who are considering double-jaw surgery. For those who, like me, tend to recover slowly, please don’t be impatient. If you watch the changes slowly day by day, a day when things clearly get better will come haha. As time passes, change will definitely come, and that change returns as greater satisfaction than you might expect.
