For those having facial contouring, especially people like me who had the cheekbones, front chin, and behind-the-ear square jaw all touched, not relatively simple surgeries like eyes or nose, please don’t waste money on things that are not even pharmaceuticals. It is wiser to use that money for radiofrequency care instead, and swelling is truly a battle against time. You need to expect at least about 3 weeks, no matter what. Claims that major swelling goes down in 3 days and that you can return to daily life in about 2 weeks are sales talk. Depending on constitution, there may be a very small number of cases where that is truly possible, but I’m someone whose face normally never swells and I also had little facial fat, so I had no idea it would be this severe. At first, I thought of using wisdom tooth extraction as an excuse, but that only works when the face is swollen within some level of common sense. Saying it was a wisdom tooth when my facial lines were distorted and my eyes had become smaller from swelling was, even to me, such an absurd excuse. Of course, at the time I shamelessly insisted on it, but people all mentioned Botox or injections. I think it would be better to say from the beginning that you got Botox or muscle injections.
