Facial Surgery Reviews@face-review

(Attention to detail) 4-month review of contouring 3 types -2- This is the real thing…

I’m later than expected getting back in front of the computer ^;^ I’ll start right away. My appearance right after the first bandage was wrapped was honestly almost impossible to look at. My lips were so badly swollen that I couldn’t close my mouth properly, and the swelling in my cheeks was so severe that I couldn’t even open my eyes fully. I was keeping the blood tube in my mouth, so saliva kept coming out, but I had almost no feeling in my chin, and only a little sensation remained in my lips. I had somewhat prepared myself for the swelling through various channels, but still, for some reason, I vaguely thought I might swell less than others.. I felt so lost about how I would ever get home with this face, and how I would explain it to my parents. I had the surgery without telling my family, and I prepared for everything, including the costs, by myself, so I had to get the swelling down even more desperately than other people. I had the surgery on Tuesday, and I was being careless. I believed that by Sunday (I live alone, but I stop by home briefly on weekend evenings) it would settle down somewhat. I read the reviews that were posted so many times I could practically memorize them, and I even saved the photos as screenshots to observe how the swelling changed. But the next morning, the dreaded morning of the second day, came anyway. It was truly miserable. I kept repeating that there was no way this could be real. My whole face was so puffy that none of my original facial lines remained, and it swelled into a square shape, like a lunchbox. It looked like it had been drawn in 2D. I had a fairly high bridge on my nose, but it was buried under the swelling, so I looked like there were just eye sockets, nostrils, and a mouth poked through. Until the second day, even after discharge, I was attached to an IV painkiller for 48 hours, and I felt a mix of unpleasantness as the pain after the anesthesia seemed to seep in, and despair even though I had braced myself when I faced the mirror. You might think this: you had bones worked on, and not just the cheekbones, but the chin and the area behind the ears and the square jaw too, so how could you hope not to swell? Are you out of your mind? That makes no sense, etc. Yes, of course I expected swelling. But I had no idea my face, which I had been used to for 24 years, would swell up to the point where only the eyes and mouth barely remained. I kept thinking, what kind of luxury and glory did I think I was chasing, spending that much money to make my face like this? If I could go back to before the surgery, I’d gladly lose the deposit. I tried to comfort myself by thinking it would be okay after sleeping one night, and though I was hungry, I had no appetite and couldn’t eat anyway, so I went to bed after only drinking milk and yogurt. But even on the evening of the third day, my face was still a square shape like a lunchbox bomb. The feeling of the swelling trapped inside bursting out when I loosened the compression band was terrifying. When I woke up in the morning, the whole lower part of my face felt heavy and hardened.. even now, thinking about it still gives me a truly dreadful feeling. It was already Friday, and I had to see my mother on Sunday, and I felt like I was going to lose my mind.
