Eye Surgery Reviews

I Have Sunken, Buried, Clam-Shaped, Fatty Eyes, and After Double Eyelid Surgery

I had double eyelid surgery when I was going into 9th grade. Now I’m in 11th grade... From the very beginning, my eyes were naturally the kind that couldn’t be fixed even with surgery. Like the title says.. my eyes were seriously tiny, monolid, clam-shaped.. (sunken with no room to open at the back. lol) Anyway, ever since I started caring about my appearance, I used to go around using double eyelid glue.. (double eyelid tape didn’t work on me) I’m still young now, but I was even younger then.. so I didn’t know anything, and with the mindset that double eyelid surgery would turn out well, I didn’t really do online or in-person research. I just got a few clinic recommendations from a Naver cafe and went straight for consultations.. I think I visited 2 places in one day? Then chose one, booked it, and had it done.. What I feel disappointed about with the director who did the surgery is that they didn’t really explain the reality of my eyes.. Anyway.. with the buried suture method, I had fat removal + ptosis correction + double eyelid surgery + epicanthoplasty. Well.. I can’t say it was botched, but for years after double eyelid surgery, I’ve kept wearing double eyelid tape.. Still, compared with before surgery, it’s better.. Rather than just looking like a line was drawn, at least my eyes look more human now. I can’t attach photos, but.. My current eye condition is that, luckily, because I had epicanthoplasty, the distance between my eyes isn’t too wide.. and they’ve just become semi-out inner double eyelids. I’m going to get revision surgery.. but honestly, I just want to tear my eyes off Everyone probably knows this.. cosmetic surgery turns out well only when the base features can support it to some extent.. Sigh, I know that in my head, but I keep denying it. Even if I get revision surgery, I feel like it’ll just be at the level of drawing one line, This ended up being less of a review and more of a rant about how angry I am at my face.. Anyway, sunken-eyed people like me, fighting.

This review is a surgery review pursuing a glamorous look.
