This time, I had lateral canthoplasty and lower canthoplasty at a plastic surgery clinic! It was done with an incisional method, and it has been exactly about 3 weeks since the surgery. I’m so satisfied that I wanted to leave an honest review. To be honest, I worried a lot before the surgery. My eyes originally looked a bit sharp, so I felt like people found my first impression a little intimidating, and I often heard that I somehow looked fierce. So for a long time, I had thought, “I wish I looked a little gentler and my impression could become softer”… What if my image changes too drastically, what if the swelling lasts a long time, what if I end up needing revision surgery? Because of worries like these, I kept putting it off. I worried about it for almost 10 years lol But now that I’ve actually done it, I’m like, why didn’t I do it sooner? First of all, the reactions around me have been so good. The things I’ve heard the most are, “Your eyes look so much more open and refreshed,” “Your eye shape is pretty even without makeup,” and “Your impression looks softer.” My eye shape looks defined even without makeup, so it’s really convenient. Especially thanks to the lateral canthoplasty, the feeling that my eyes looked small or cramped completely disappeared, and doing the lower canthoplasty together made my overall eye shape look very natural and the lines prettier. It feels like I’ve gotten really close to the “gentle and soft image” I wanted? There was of course some swelling after the surgery, but it went down a lot after about 1–2 weeks, and now it’s barely noticeable. It didn’t hurt, and the bruising also settled faster than I expected. Honestly, even if I had to choose again now, I would 100% do it again. I’m going around recommending it to people too lol Doctor, I love you... totally...♥️
