If I cover the double-eyelid line with just a little dark shadow, it looks stuffy and puffy, so I really don’t draw eyeliner so much as stamp it on I think it’d be better to erase the eyeliner tattoo first and lower the line When you remove the tattoo, go somewhere that gives you protective lenses...!!

I also live overseas (in the U.S.), and like you, I had my eyes ruined by an unskilled doctor at a clinic in Korea. I waited 6 months, went back to Korea, had revision surgery at a good clinic, and had a good outcome. I am completely against getting revision surgery from the same doctor. Doctors are human too, so with someone they failed on once, they can actually feel even more pressure, and the chance of failing again is high. Go somewhere that is truly good at eye surgery. Eye surgery takes more care and effort than people think...

Before the revision surgery, make sure you remove your eyeliner!!!! I removed mine in a rush after the revision surgery. And even if you don't have much time, seriously make sure you go to lots of consultations. I found it hard to go around for consultations while I was pregnant, so I only went to one place, and I really regret it now lol

It's only my first session so it's not completely gone yet, but the feeling of pressure has improved. I recommend removing it too!! The procedure time is short, but it hurts...

There are lots of hospitals that are good at eye revision surgery, so I recommend looking into about 5 places and going to one that’s good at revisions!!

Even if you do it at the same place, there's no guarantee it will turn out well,, If it were me, I'd go somewhere else.. If you get a revision at the place where you had it done before, do they give you a discount? But even so, no.. you have to do it somewhere else for sure

No, but the line is way too thick... and the eye-opening correction was done too aggressively, too. Tell them to remove the eyeliner tattoo first, then ask them to loosen the eye-opening correction a little.

Didn’t they ask you to open your eyes during the eye surgery? It seems like they fixed it too much from the start... If you open your eyes in between during surgery, you would see it right away I’d really not recommend that hospital I think it’ll go well if you preview the line in advance and communicate before surgery good luck!

I’ve also had revision surgery on my eyes 5 times already.. It’s still a failure, but please don’t go back and do the exact same thing again... sigh... I know it feels like a waste of money and all that, but once it fails, it’ll probably fail again. Seeing it like this, the pre-op eyes were pretty, but even just looking at the current photo without the old one, I don’t think they look sausage-like; I think they look pretty. I just think that if you do makeup well and give it 2-3 years, it’ll become more natural and prettier.

Your current eyes would probably look pretty with makeup too, but the old eyes were definitely prettier... My friend also had a third revision, and they definitely looked pretty. But I think it would be better to switch hospitals for it.

I absolutely don't recommend going to the same hospital I think it's better to wait until the swelling settles, about 1 to 2 years. It's not totally sausage-like!! It's more that the lash line is lifted, so it looks that way. Still, if it really bothers you, let's go consult another hospital.

Before the revision, I recommend removing the eyelid liner tattoo... Your current double-eyelid line and your eyeliner design don't match each other, so the condition looks even worse. And I absolutely don't recommend doing a second revision at the place that already failed you. That level of skill isn't going anywhere..

Think about a way to remove the eyeliner tattoo too. I've only had double-eyelid surgery three times, and after the last surgery I removed my eyeliner tattoo. Maybe because the swelling went down in the meantime, my eye shape got better. But I heard removing eyeliner tattoos is painful, so I went to the most famous place and had it done about five times, and it ended up costing about the same as double-eyelid surgery...

I also noticed this from reviews, but a lot of people do buried-suture and incisional methods in completely different ways. The incisional method must be a much harder surgery.

I think you should remove the eyeliner tattoo and look into another clinic. It seems like they set the crease too high because of the sagging eyelid skin

I also had revision surgery, and right before the operation I said I wanted a semi-out line, but the line ended up too high and the two sides became uneven, so it was really hard. They told me to wait because it was swelling, so I waited 2 years, but it stayed the same, so I eventually had revision surgery again. Luckily, they lowered the line and it seems like the surgery worked well with an in-line. They said the two sides had no choice but to end up with different line heights. Still, the shape is much better than before. There are a lot of revision surgery clinics on YouTube, so I hope you research well and find a good clinic!
