It’s been over 4 months, and the clinic said all the swelling is gone But I asked why it looks so puffy when I look down, and they said everyone is originally like that if it’s done by incision.. But I don’t think I’ve even seen celebrities with eyes like this For the left side, the fixation at the end is loose, so it’s true that I need to redo it.. They set the line low and said there was no chance it would become sausage-like, but it looks sausage-like, so I’m extremely stressed ㅠ Is it really normal for it to look that unnatural even after all the swelling is gone..? I don’t really know what other people are likeㅠ
익명 It seems like most of the major swelling is almost gone, and with incision, the eyes can take as long as 1-2 years to settle into place. The reason it looks like that when you look down is deep fixation + your own eyelid skin quality and shape, so there’s nothing you can really do about it. Celebrities basically only do buried sutures to lightly pinch the crease in the first place; they don’t really do incisions. If you have revision surgery with weaker fixation, it might get somewhat better, but then there’s also a risk that it could come undone, and it’s impossible for it to look as natural as natural eyes. In the end, if it’s incision, it can’t be helped. It’s easier on your mind to accept it. Other than revising the left eye where the fixation is weak, I don’t think there’s much that can be improved.
익명 [@] I seeㅜㅜ My left eye actually has weak fixation and feels like it’s about to come undone, so it’s a situation where it needs to be fixed more strongly.. Then it’ll probably look even more sausage-like, right..? If I’d known it would be like this, I would’ve thought more about doing it by incision tooㅠㅠ My skin is thick, and when I did buried sutures and partial incision, they all came undone, so that’s why I did incision too But this time it failed^^ I don’t know why they didn’t take into account that my skin is thick and made the line look sausage-like;; To get rid of that feeling, I guess the only method would be double-line revision..ㅠ But even among ordinary people, I feel like I haven’t really seen people like thatㅠㅠ Sometimes on YouTube there are cases where the incisional fixation is deep, so the line is clearly visible when they look down, but for me it’s just kind of puffy like I haven’t been long out from surgery..? That kind of feeling..
익명 [@] Since you said your skin was thick in the first place, incision was the only option, so it was an unavoidable choice. Don’t regret it.. And honestly, the line just looks slightly plump compared with your eye-opening strength; it’s not that severe of a sausage eye, and at that level, they probably wouldn’t even do double-line revision, and it’s not an eye that really needs it. Just get revision surgery again for the left eye where it came undone, match it to about the right eye, and live with it. It feels that way because it’s your own eyes, but honestly, most people who had incisional double eyelid surgery have a similar feeling to yours when they look down.

I had a revision with the buried-suture method, but the line feels like it has dropped too much compared with the beginning, so I compared it with photos from week 2. As the swelling went down, my upper eyelid stayed the same, so because of
