I had surgery on February 5, and today is day 2 haha Compared to my first surgery, I barely have any bruising and almost no facial swelling, so even the nurses told me I wasn’t very swollen haha But the area between my eyebrows is so soft and squishy, it hurts when I touch it, andㅠㅠ the throbbing is still there,,ㅠㅠ I wonder when it won’t hurt even if I touch itㅠㅠ It hurts so much when they remove the tape for treatmentㅠㅠㅠ Yesterday too, when they took off the tape, I really debated whether to look in the mirror or not, but I couldn’t look Today, after taking off the tape, I was waiting for the director, and I gathered my courage and looked in the mirror once.. Honestly, I looked while worrying that I’d really have a mental breakdown, but it wasn’t as bad as a breakdown as I thought.. I can feel that the bridge of my nose has gotten a bit lower, and I don’t know if it’s because they left the ear cartilage in, but because of the swelling, the tip of my nose looks a little swollen,, When I looked slightly from the side, it felt kind of, just a tiny bit, upturned, but for now it’s only day two, so I’m going to wait and see haha I really thought I’d feel devastated after looking in the mirror, but it wasn’t to that extent, so I’m so relievedㅠㅠ Even when they drew blood, not much came out.. I’m just waiting for the swelling to go down quickly haha I’m not taking Rizaben or any medicine like that! I’m doing cold compresses, and since yesterday I’ve also been disinfecting it and applying ointment.. It’s my nose, so I need to keep taking good care of itㅠㅠ I really just hope it stays the way it looks nowㅠㅠ Still, after removing it, I feel really comfortable mentally Like my nose feels a bit lighter? I definitely feel that haha I hope those who are about to have removal surgery can also have the surgery comfortably Unless it’s a nose that has undergone a lot of manipulation, I feel like contracture won’t happen and it will just return well to how it originally was haha
