I had functional nose surgery, so I can’t breathe through my nose for more than a week. Once I fall asleep, even if I’m breathing through my mouth, I automatically close my mouth and try to breathe through my nose. Because of sleep apnea, I keep waking up every 10 minutes like I’m having a seizure. Putting everything else aside, I feel like I’m going crazy from not being able to sleep. Please, is there any way to deal with this? For three days I haven’t even slept 3 hours. I’m dazed and not myself. Help me. Is there any tip for breathing comfortably through my mouth? I even tried sleeping with a toilet paper roll in my mouth so I wouldn’t close it, but it doesn’t work. I’m so desperate.
솜밍이 There’s a spray at the pharmacy that you use before sleeping so your mouth doesn’t get dry. Try using that. It’s better than not using anything. And sleep with a humidifier turned on strong next to you, and drink lots of water. It’s really awful, right....
냔니냔냔 Turn on a humidifier and wet some gauze with water, then place it over your lips. It helps a lot.
민지야코코 Right, I know all the ways to keep it from getting dry, like turning on a humidifier, sleeping with water-soaked gauze on, and so on, but I don’t know how to sleep without closing my mouth... haah..
예린님 [@Sommingi] They’re asking how to sleep while breathing through their mouth......... They said they’re having a hard time because they can’t sleep.
