I had buried-incision double eyelid surgery + ptosis correction yesterday. Since it was a morning surgery, the director came in hurriedly, marked the line only on the eye where the crease had come undone, and was about to leave, so I mentioned the line again while I was on the operating table and had it marked again. But I also didn’t mention ptosis correction on the day of surgery, and neither the staff nor the director mentioned it, so after the surgery I started wondering if they had left out the ptosis correction. Today is a holiday, so I can’t get through to the clinic, and I’m going to try tomorrow. But even if ptosis correction was written in the chart, if the doctor was distracted, couldn’t they have forgotten it...? I also wonder if another clinic could tell from the outside whether ptosis correction was done, and I’m so frustrated that I’m writing this ㅜㅜ
리저베릐 Do you feel like the ptosis correction wasn’t done too? With ptosis correction, early on you might not feel a strong pulling sensation because of the swelling, but once the swelling goes down, the eyes do open much more..
아류아어두오 Ptosis correction.. it looks like it wasn’t done?? You can’t see the whole iris. Check tomorrow, and even if they say it was done, if you’re not satisfied, ask them for an after-service revision!!

얼굴형별론데눈코만해… Even if you had ptosis correction, if it hasn’t been long since surgery, the amount of iris exposure isn’t related because of the swelling. When are you going back to the clinic for a follow-up?
허거억쓰 [@얼굴형별론데눈코만해도될까] I asked the consultant, and they said the plan is completely different for buried-incision surgery alone versus doing it together with ptosis correction, so there’s no way the director could leave it out ,, I guess I should trust them ㅜㅜ They didn’t specifically say anything about when to check the progress, but I’m going to schedule a consultation around 3-6 months later.

It seems like the doctor was busy and didn’t look properly, but even if you didn’t mention it before anesthesia, there’s a 95%+ chance they did it properly during surgery. Did they not wake you up when doing the ptosis correction??
