I saw some people hesitating about removal, and honestly there really are many different types of rhinoplasty;; so I’m sorry to say this so presumptuously, but.. for me, the swelling is going down much faster than with my first surgery, I had bruising back then but I don’t have any bruising now, and the scarring also seems a bit less. I had severe psychological stress, and I think maybe I’m getting better because I’m mentally more stable and the foreign material has been removed. I had silicone + costal cartilage. They threatened me with all kinds of things, saying it would collapse, but when setting the date for revision surgery, they said they had simply tied the cartilage with sutures and placed the costal cartilage on top. And after surgery, they showed me the removed costal cartilage and sutures. As some time has passed, the pain in my nose has lessened and movement has become easier, but the nasal tip still hurts a bit and the height is still a little high. Will this come down over time? I was told before surgery that it could look a bit upturned, but I’m anxious that maybe they didn’t remove enough.
