I'm having persistent unexplained pain after revision nose surgery and I'm going to a university hospital for treatment, but they say I need a referral letter to go to a tertiary hospital. Should I ask the hospital where I had the surgery for one? They keep saying it's definitely not inflammation, but would they be upset if I ask them to write a referral letter? I don't want to get on bad terms with the hospital.. Should I just go to a local ENT clinic and ask them to write one? I don't know what to do.. Is there anyone here with experience?
