Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

Hehe, after surgery and inflammation... I think it has healed

I’m a woman who is now exactly one month post-op from nose surgery. After my second surgery, I had the silicone removed, waited a little over a year, and then had revision surgery... I think the surgery took about 4 hours. They said the tissues inside my nose were a mess, so it was difficult.... My nose was upturned so my nostrils were all visible, but even with tape on, I could clearly tell that my nostrils showed less. Because I’d had inflammation before, I kept going to the hospital for antibiotic injections... I hadn’t really drunk alcohol or smoked, but after the stitches were removed, discharge came out from the nasal tip area... I did go to PC rooms a lot after surgery, so maybe it was from secondhand smoke..? ㅠㅠ Was it because I was tired..? ㅠㅠ I regret not just resting at home... ㅠ ㅠ It didn’t hurt, it wasn’t swollen, and there wasn’t any bad smell from inside my nose, but there was discharge.. ha.... They switched my medicine and antibiotics to stronger ones, and I went to the hospital every day except Sundays for injections and treatment..ㅠㅠ But it didn’t get better or worse, and fifteen days passed like that... I went in the morning for an injection, and we decided to remove the silicone in the afternoon... I really cried so, so much.. I was depressed and felt like I had lost the whole world.... In the afternoon, I washed my face, got the IV line placed, and right before surgery, the director said it was ambiguous.. That removing it or not removing it were both difficult choices, and the inflammation wasn’t severe but wasn’t healing.. They said the nose shape was too good to waste... They thought it over.. showed my nose to another director at the hospital for advice and discussed it. From the surgery through the treatment, they really paid a lot of attention to me and did their best.. haha. Just when I was emptying my mind, thinking to myself, “I should just remove it and do it again later...” They said that since the IV line was already in anyway, they would use sedation anesthesia and wash the inflamed area inside my nose with antibiotics(?) If that didn’t work, then we’d remove it then. Ah.. when they said they weren’t removing the silicone, really.... ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ I fell asleep and the washing finished... From what they said, I think they washed inside and removed inflammatory tissue? The inside of my nose was stitched again.. and tape was also put on... They said it was to prevent it from being pulled upward, so I kept it on for about another week... The stitches were dissolvable, but for now they removed them after one week.. Now a week has passed. I think the inflammation has healed.. >ㅁ< There’s no discharge, and they said the wound is clean too.. Just in case, I’m taking antibiotics for one more week and going back once more to check the condition. Hehe... For a month I had injections almost every day... took medicine every day and went through a lot, but I’m so happy it healed without removing the silicone... I really want to drink alcohol and smoke, but I’m going to hold off for a few months. For those who develop inflammation... I hope you heal.. fighting!
