Side effects from facial contouring surgery!! (A hole formed in the bone)

In early 2023, I underwent three types of facial contouring surgery at a plastic surgery clinic near Sinsa Station. I decided to have the surgery based only on the glamorous reviews I found online and what the counseling manager told me. The explanation was simple, and I was never told that it was dangerous. But after the surgery, I lost sensation on the left side of my lips and chin. At first, they told me to wait, saying it was probably because of swelling, but even after several months, nothing changed. Eventually, after a year had passed, I was diagnosed at a university hospital with inferior alveolar nerve damage. They say the nerve is already damaged and there is no possibility of recovery. I have lost sensation in my face forever. What is even more painful is the hospital’s attitude. At first, they said, “We’ll help you” and “We’ll process it through insurance,” but at some point they changed their stance and said, “It’s difficult to reach a settlement” and “Do it according to the law.” I went to this hospital with my older cousin, and she also had the same surgery and is experiencing symptoms of nerve damage. Same day, same surgery, same symptoms, yet the hospital refuses to take any responsibility. I am not even in a financial position to hire a lawyer. Even now, I go to work, live my social life, and deal with people with a face that has no sensation. I only wanted a simple cosmetic improvement, but I ended up with a lifelong wound. I hope there will be no more victims like me. If anyone is considering this hospital, please think very carefully. The doctor did not explain the risks, did not take responsibility for treatment, and in the end, I am bearing this pain alone. Even now, I keep agonizing over it. Whether it is truly right to let the world know what happened to me. But I am afraid that if I do nothing, someone else may go through the same thing. Please do not end up like me.
