I couldn’t decide easily because facial contouring surgery is generally perceived as a pretty major surgery. It’s not a common surgery like eyes or nose, and there were lots of reviews about side effects, so I was scared too. Since the whole face changes at once, I couldn’t help but be cautious.ㅠ,ㅠㅠ But my cheekbones, square jaw, and chin tip were all spread out, so whether from the front or side profile, it kept stressing me out, and every time I took photos, it felt like my self-esteem dropped. So I thought I should do it before I got older and decided on surgeryㅜㅜㅜ I went to consultations at several hospitals, and ultimately decided on Girin because my friend had surgery there and got good results. The desk staff handled things neatly, and the consultant guided me well so I could ask various questions without feeling pressured. And the most decisive thing was the consultation with the director! He explained my facial structure in a lot of detail, and above all, he confidently said he would help me live more enjoyably going forward, so somehow he felt trustworthy lol... Honestly, since someone I know had good results, I also just trusted them and had the surgery. On the day of surgery, I was really nervous, but after anesthesia, when I opened my eyes, I was in the recovery room lol I was out of it, but the nurses kept taking care of me, so I was so grateful.. Especially the nurses who changed my drains every two hours at dawn... They were so, so kind, and thanks to them, I think I was really able to get through the difficult first day well. I sincerely appreciated it..! The male nurse at dawn and the female nurse who said she had also had surgery..ㅠ.ㅠ.ㅠ It’s now been a little over 2 weeks since surgery. There is still a lot of swelling and it’s a bit stiff, but I think the cheekbone line has definitely become smoother. When I touch it with my hand, I can definitely feel that the cheekbones have gone in. The CT changed dramatically. There’s still swelling, so the overall line hasn’t fully settled yet, but I’m looking forward to it because I think it’ll become much more natural and pretty after about a month!
