Recently, I've been seriously considering revision eye surgery, so I've been going to consultations at several hospitals. Among them, the consultation with Director Yoon Jung-min at TS Plastic Surgery was especially impressive, so I'm sharing it.
The surgeries I want are revision eye surgery + upper-eye fat repositioning + forehead lift, and after my previous surgery, the asymmetry and the hollowed-out look above my eyes were really stressful. So I decided on revision surgery and booked a consultation with Director Yoon Jung-min, who has many reviews saying he is meticulous.
When I actually had the consultation, he directly said something along the lines of, “If the symmetry is even slightly off, I don't let the patient leave the operating room.” From that one sentence, I could really feel his surgical philosophy and meticulousness. I understood why real patient reviews say he is detailed and examines things with an almost sensitive level of delicacy.
He checked everything one by one, including the eye shape, the degree of fat hollowing, the volume of the upper eyelids, and the pattern of forehead muscle use, and explained in detail which combination of surgeries would be most suitable for me. In particular, he explained that fat repositioning and forehead lift are not simply a matter of “attaching” something, but need a three-dimensional approach that considers the overall balance of the eye shape and forehead, which made me trust him.
To sum it up, it was my first time having a consultation that looked this carefully and in this much detail. He answered everything I was curious about without seeming bothered, and he also designed it right in front of me, so I felt more certain about how my image would change after surgery.
I still plan to consult a few more hospitals before deciding on surgery, but I think Director Yoon Jung-min at TS will definitely remain one of the strong candidates. I would like to recommend him to people with complex eye concerns such as revision eye surgery, hollowing above the eyes, and forehead sagging.
