I only had a double eyelid on one side, so I used double-eyelid tape and double-eyelid glue, and that one side had stretched a lot. So on that side, while doing ptosis correction, they did upper + medial epicanthoplasty, and I was thinking of not doing the other side, but I thought if I only did one side, asymmetry might happen again, so I had ptosis correction and medial epicanthoplasty done together on the other side too. (They said they did the medial epicanthoplasty differently because the under-eye lengths on both sides were different.) But it has been almost 2 years since I had it done, and the uneven eyes are seriously severe.. I get that it may be unavoidable, but the lines are completely different, and I can’t take front-facing eye photos at all..... so damn traumatic..... I joined this community because I need revision eye surgery, but I’m really torn about where would be good.......
