I didn’t really care much before, but after I started working and met people often, my complex about my nose got worse. Without realizing it, when talking, I would slightly lower my head or keep paying attention to my face angle, and thinking about it now, I think that was an unconscious behavior to hide my noseㅜㅜ Since I was young, I was teased a bit and stressed a lot because of my hooked nose..... Maybe because of that, as soon as I graduated from college and started working, I decided that I really had to get hooked-nose surgery, which I had only kept buried in my mind all that time. I had a consultation with Director Kim Dae-hwa at ID Plastic Surgery, and he really caught exactly the direction I wanted. After surgery, once the swelling went down and some time passed, the straight-feeling nose line I wanted gradually settled in. Not too sharp, natural but distinct? That made my impression look much cleaner. It’s been about 8 months since surgery now, and honestly, the biggest thing that changed is my attitude rather than my appearance. Before, because of my nose, I kept worrying about it, I hated showing my side profile, and even when talking, I would turn my head. But now that I have confidence in my nose line, I don’t feel burdened at all standing in front of people, and even under lighting or at angles I would have avoided before, I just feel confidentㅋㅋ Since I definitely gained confidence, my way of speaking became softer, my facial expressions became much more natural, and I can feel for myself that I’m more relaxed when meeting people. These days, juniors or friends say, “Weren’t you always like this?” and to me, that is honestly the biggest complimentㅋㅋ
