I came to the hospital consultation intending to remove everything, and I came thinking the hospital had agreed to do revision surgery, but the doctor said it was only silicone removal, and that I would have to pay more for total removal surgery.. that it is very complicated, so we argued. ..
The problem is that I asked them to remove the nasal silicone, the nasal-tip septal support strut, and release the tied cartilage, but the doctor says that if the septal support strut is removed, it will collapse, and that to pull out the septum, the cartilage has to be spread apart, and then the spread cartilage has to be tied again, asking whether I would leave it spread open. He says it will collapse if it is not tied again. (For reference, this is my first nose surgery, and I do not like that my nasal tip looks pinched and the nostril/ala area has become narrow.)
In the reviews here, when people say they released the septal support strut and tied cartilage, does that mean they released what was done initially and then tied it again? For now, after the argument, too much time had passed, so the date was changed to tomorrow, and I have to talk about it tomorrow. Has anyone had septal removal while also releasing the tied cartilage?
