First of all, my eyes had incisional double eyelid surgery + ptosis correction + fat removal + epicanthoplasty 2 years ago. But maybe the ptosis correction wasn’t done properly, because the amount of iris exposure is very different on each side. The opening strength of my right eye is much weaker. Both directors at the clinics I consulted said it was severe. The line shapes are also asymmetric on both sides. And the line at the inner corner of my eye is somewhat covered. So what I want from revision surgery this time is: Make the degree of iris exposure symmetric Make the lines symmetric Lift the line at the front of the eye That’s about it. The prices are the prices when I did not book surgery on the same day. 1. ㅌㅇㅅ (Director Yang) Surgery details: incision (slight skin removal at the front of the eye), ptosis correction, upper eyelid fat repositioning Price 290 The waiting time was extremely long. It took 2 hours total. I went with high expectations because I really liked the review photos and heard the consultation was detailed. The director’s consultation was definitely very kind and good. I thought my eye lines were asymmetric, but after measuring with a ruler, he said the heights were the same. I hadn’t considered a brow lift, and he mentioned it, but he did not pressure me. Also, I said I was interested in lateral canthoplasty and lower canthoplasty, but when I said I had severe dry eye, he firmly advised against it. The consultant was also kind and good. But nothing really clicked for me, so I didn’t want to put down a deposit. After I refused the deposit three times, they didn’t push it anymore. I think the AS period was 1 year, but I don’t remember exactly, and I think aftercare included one laser massage, etc. 2. ㄹㅇㅇ Surgery details: incision, ptosis correction, lowering the line (right side only) Price 440 There was almost no waiting, and it took one hour, but the director’s consultation was on the longer side. I made a rushed reservation here because after booking ㅌㅇㅅ, I thought I should also visit one nearby place. So I didn’t have high expectations, but I really liked the director’s consultation. He grasped the characteristics of my eyes right away. But maybe what I told the consultant was not conveyed correctly; I said I wanted only the front part of the line lifted, but it seems it was incorrectly conveyed as wanting the entire line lifted to make it look glamorous. So at first, he recommended a brow lift. Actually, I found out here something I hadn’t known: my eyes don’t have a lot of fat, but rather thick skin, so I would need a brow lift. I had thought my eyes had a lot of fat, but apparently that wasn’t the case.. It was a bit shocking. So he said if I do a brow lift, I should do the brow lift first and then revision double eyelid surgery to correct the eye asymmetry better. And if I’m not considering a brow lift, then I can just do revision double eyelid surgery. For the right eye, he said he would slightly lower the line and do overall ptosis correction; for the left eye, he said the back part of the eye actually lacks strength, so he would do ptosis correction there and then lift the front because it’s a bit unfortunate that the front line is slightly covered. (He said the weak posterior part of the left eye is characteristic of patients with astigmatism, and I have very severe astigmatism, so this was another new thing I learned.) The consultant was kind, but felt a little strong-willed. The price was higher than my budget, and the same-day booking discount was large, so I did put down a deposit and left (also because I was very satisfied with the director’s consultation), but now I slightly regret it and wonder if I shouldn’t have. Because I think identifying the eye problem and having the surgical skill to fix it can be different things. The AS period is 1 year, and they said laser treatment or scar injections are also free. What I’m confused about is that the first director said the line heights on both sides are the same, while the second director said he would lower the right line, so their opinions differ. I don’t know which is right. Right now I’m leaning toward the second clinic, but I’m going to get more consultations. What made me sad was that both directors asked whether the first clinic didn’t correct it again for meㅠㅠㅠㅠ
