Day 9 detailed review after cheekbone + square jaw surgery (photos removed)

I saw the post below, so I’m leaving a review too. Organizing the photos was exhausting, pant pant~ As you can tell from the before photos, my facial contour was no joke... My features are on the pretty side, but I always went around covering my face... I had booked the hospital for September 18, then canceled one week before surgery and kept looking around, and finally begged and pleaded with the hospital I chose to schedule my surgery for the 19th!! ㅠㅠ I took progress photos day by day. Will they be comparable? Days 3 and 4 were intense, and the swelling started going down from the night of day 4. I have a fairly high nasal bridge, but on days 3-4, my nasal bridge was so swollen it looked like it was submerged in water, so it was hard to even find... When they do cheekbone surgery, they pull and fix the periosteum? right? If you look at the day 2 photo, you’ll see bruising, but it goes away. What I’m still worried about is not just the swelling, but my eyes were originally slightly slanted upward, and even today they’re no joke. \ / ☜ really eyes like this.. I had cheekbone surgery through scalp incisions, square jaw surgery through intraoral incisions, and cortical bone shaving. Only some of the scalp stitches were removed, and I’m going tomorrow to have the intraoral stitches removed. My job is also as a counselor, and I don’t have much hair... There are probably many people worrying about this, so I’ll keep posting reviews and updating you on the progress. For me!! 1. I work in counseling and talk all day -> Today is D+9, and I can speak well and pronounce things fine, but my jaw hurts like crazy. It feels numb all the way to my lips, so even though I use a hand-warmer pack to apply heat all day, it still hurts. By the time I get off work, I’m exhausted. 2. I don’t have much hair, and my hair is thin and weak, but I had scalp incisionsㅠㅠ -> I was too anxious about intraoral incision alone, so I guess there was no other way... When I went to the hospital and took the bandage off, and the first time I washed my hair, a lot fell out. When going to work, I washed it once, then a day or two later~ so 3 times in total. Other than the first time, it just fell out about as much as usual... I’ll watch this a bit longer and let you know in a review. For now, that’s the end of my day 10 review~ I still look like a pufferfish. I think it’ll look natural after about a month. Oh right, and as you can tell from the two photos at the very bottom, one cheekbone either still has more swelling or is asymmetric (please noㅠㅠ). You can see it looks bumpy, right? I hope it gets better... When will my eyes go back to my original eyes? I look like an alien ㅠㅠㅠ Outer corners of my eyes, please return to normal ㅠㅠ PS. After surgery, I bought Ottog* soup and porridge, but after eating them twice I got so sick of them that I just can’t eat them.... Porridge really is best when it’s plain. Make it yourself with rice, or eat a different flavor each meal that you can manage. I really don’t think I’ll ever even look at Ottog* porridge and soup again in my life;;
