First surgery I-shaped silicone 1.5 mm, bulbous nose surgery (cartilage suturing), ear cartilage used I had inflammation, so it was removed. (Only the silicone, after 2 weeks) After removal, maybe because I had bulbous nose correction, I lived feeling more satisfied than before my nose surgery, and after 2 years passed, for some reason my nose had become even broader, and it bothered me so much,, (when I smile, the nose becomes even broader and disappears..) Human greed being what it is, I wanted revision surgery again. ... I must have been crazy.. Looking back now, I regret it so deeply. Eventually, a little over 2 years later, the ear cartilage I had been living with was removed, and they put in L-shaped silicone 4 mm (I checked after surgery, and contrary to my intention, they had raised it this high ㅡㅡ/ At first I kept saying I did not want L-shaped silicone, but from before anesthesia, the doctor kept saying things like he needed it to act as nasal support, L-shaped was better, and once I was on the operating table I thought it would be better to listen to the doctor, so I said okay), removed scar tissue that had formed in the left nostril after the first surgery, did osteotomy of the wide nasal bones, said they placed ear cartilage dermis on top of the L-shape, and lowered the nostril rim with ear cartilage. After surgery, maybe because it was revision surgery, the swelling went down slowly.. I got injections, watched the progress, and at first I thought it might be inflammation again ... I worried endlessly. The implant was tilted too, so the doctor pushed it by hand a few times, and now the shape looks less tilted. (I think this is when I started going crazy..) But the hospital says it is just slow recovery and 100% not inflammation. And today is the 20th day after surgery. My nose has become too high,,, a nose that looks obviously done.. I am psychologically tormented, afraid inflammation will come again and afraid it will tilt, so I am living in seclusion now, cannot eat, and only search for reviews by people similar to me. I realized that a person can go crazy in an instant... When I went to the revision-surgery hospital and asked them to remove it, they said the nose shape is much prettier than before. Why remove it? Removal is your choice, so do it if you want, I do not care. Since it is not being removed because of inflammation, it absolutely will not turn up ㅡㅡ They neglected me, the doctor was busy avoiding me, and I no longer trusted them. I was afraid to have that hospital open my nose one more time, so I went to another hospital to ask about removal. (They said it was a hospital specializing in contracture..) Because there is no inflammation, if only the L-shaped implant is removed, there likely will not be contracture, but since the silicone is supporting the area under the nose, there will be some lifting. The nose shape is prettier now than before, but if it is due to psychological factors, removal may be the better choice for you. During the consultation I kept crying and saying I was scared, and the doctor personally handed me tissues, and said that even if I do not remove it, if inflammation happens, I can come to their hospital for treatment... ..ㅜㅜ The consultant also kept comforting me... ㅜㅜ I do not have the confidence to live with this monster-like silicone. The anxiety of not knowing when side effects will come... I am extremely distressed psychologically.. In this state of mind, it seems removal would be better, right? But because my nose was touched a lot due to revision surgery, I am very worried it may become uglier than before. ... Contraction, contracture, depression.. skin color changes.. my head is full of complicated thoughts... Is removing only the L-shaped implant within 3 weeks the answer? Or... is the answer to do revision only of the nasal tip with dermis while removing it? Every day feels like hell.. They say if the removal timing passes, I have to wait 6 months .... Then I feel like I will go even more crazy, so I cannot decide either way.. If you have pain similar to mine, or if you can say anything to help with my decision, please do.........
