Breast Surgery Reviews@breast-review

Breast surgery log I’m writing for myself [Day 2-Day 7] Pain …

Height 163, weight 49, breast base width 11.9 Baseline tissue on the border between A cup and AA cup Slight pectus excavatum Implants: Mentor Xtra Moderate High, 375 cc on both sides Inframammary fold incision, dual plane UNU Plastic Surgery - Director Lee Yung-gi My surgery date was May 20, so today is exactly day 7! I’m writing this based on the notes I saved on my phone so I could post everything at once. It’s long because I wrote it in detail, so please read only if you need it! Day 2, day 3, and day 4 were almost the same. The pain in the breasts themselves was tolerable, and I only had a tight, about-to-burst feeling. My nipples also became extremely sensitive and enlarged, like they were about to shoot forward. The upper breasts softened a lot, and it felt like the swelling in my right breast was going down much faster. I was able to wash my hair and shower by myself on day 3. I’m only taking the medication the hospital gave me. (I had almost no pain, so I didn’t take Tylenol.) I kept sleeping with my upper body raised at 20 degrees. I could get up by myself after waking up! I could lift my arms quite a lot, and the abdominal swelling had moved down severely. And strangely, my flanks and whole abdomen hurt like they were bruised. (No bruising was visible.) Maybe because of the compression garment, or because of that pressure, the sides of my left and right breasts hurt a lot. The left side started swelling little by little. (The strap area of the compression garment.) ★ I could only walk for about 30 minutes and spent the whole day recovering at home ★ So just as I was waiting for the swelling to go down quickly.. [May 25, Day 5] The pain suddenly became worse, and the frequency of the pain started increasing. I had seen a post saying that it hurts when the nerves + sensation start coming back, so I thought, “Is sensation coming back now?” Both entire breasts kept tingling like when an arm falls asleep. And intermittent pain would come once in a while, like “Ah!” .. “Ah!”... that level of pain. The pain would stay for about 3-5 seconds and disappear, then 5 minutes later another 3-5 seconds of pain would come. The pain felt a bit like an electric zing + being stabbed with something sharp? So I took the medication from the hospital together with Tylenol. And when I took off the compression garment to shower, if you look at what I wrote, from this day I could visually see that the swelling on both sides was going down differently. The left side was a little bigger, and the right side was a little smaller and softer. The pain and tingling appeared equally in both breasts. And I developed vaginitis. There was no odor, but there was a lot of discharge. I heard that if you take the antibiotics from the hospital diligently 3 times a day for 5 days, they can also kill beneficial bacteria, so vaginitis can occur. That symptom is really bothering me. There were no situational factors at all, such as having intercourse or not being able to change underwear. Also, I’m losing much more hair than before. It can happen if you wash your hair after several days, but even though it wasn’t to that extent, I was losing a lot, so I think it’s due to decreased immunity after general anesthesia + my body’s reaction to the breast implants + antibiotics + not being able to sleep deeply. So from this day, I started taking an immune support supplement as well. Also, my abdomen was hard and tight, and the areas that had hurt until yesterday started showing purplish bruising on my abdomen. It seems the bruising that wasn’t visible on the breasts moved downward inside to the abdomen. There was a lot of bruising on the left flank, and only a little on the right. ★ I couldn’t walk at all and spent the whole day recovering at home ★ [May 26, Day 6] The severe pain was okay again today. The worst pain right now is probably because the side strap area of the compression garment keeps pressing on the side-breast area. The left side has swollen up. The right side is a little bruised. (Actually the right side hurts less; the left side hurts even if something just brushes against it.) I only took the medication the hospital gave me, and I only had tingling, with no pain again like on days 2, 3, and 4. There was a little pain occasionally, but it was tolerable. But today, the upper breasts looked more protruding and more swollen. The tightness was worse than yesterday, and my nipples are still shooting forward. Today I put on nipple patches and walked around outside a lot. I also started driving that day. I couldn’t take sharp turns or hold the upper part of the steering wheel, but I could hold up to the middle and turn it. My constipation is all better, so I had two satisfying bowel movements in a day, but I still have abdominal swelling. The abdominal bruising is still there too. I still couldn’t see any breast bruising. [May 27, Day 7] The pain is not much different from yesterday. It wasn’t severe. Over the whole day, I had around 10 or fewer moments where I went “Ah!” once, but it was tolerable. The side of my left breast hurts so much that it’s hard. (It swelled more because of the compression garment pressure.) Twice a day, I loosened the compression garment for about 10 minutes and massaged only the side-breast areas with both arms. I can feel that they’ve become very hard, and the soft feeling is gone again. They feel tight and hard again. Only the upper breast area feels slightly soft. Today, when I took off the compression garment to shower and took photos, maybe because of the pinching at the left inframammary incision, the left implant looks like it is slightly leaning diagonally. It feels like the two sides are uneven. The overall breasts still feel like bread loaf + chest armor.. Today was supposed to be my 1-week hospital visit, but because of timing I decided to go tomorrow, so I ended up wearing the surgical bra + upper band for one more day! These are 1-week photos. As I felt, the left and right sides seem uneven. Could it be because of the pinching at the left inframammary incision? I’d appreciate it if you could look with me ♥ Tomorrow I’ll go to the hospital for the 1-week visit, and I wrote down in advance the questions I’ll ask the director. (Obviously a J to anyone who sees it.) After tomorrow’s visit, I’ll come back toward the end of week 1 to write the director’s answers and my review!
