In conclusion, the surgery went well. Since it was a revision surgery, I was really worried it would fail again, but all the parts I was concerned about improved and were resolved. And what’s functionally satisfying is that, interestingly, opening my eyes has become much more comfortable than before... Before, when I opened my eyes, it felt like my double eyelid was catching? That was severe, so I used to walk around with my eyes relaxed, but now the foreign body sensation is gone, so I can open my eyes comfortably. If I were to rate it, 4.5 out of 5? The reason I took off 0.5 is that I like that it looks natural, but because it’s natural, I think I’d be sad if it gets any thinner from here sob sob I hope it doesn’t get thinner,,, Even though it was an incision, there wasn’t swelling right after surgery or during recovery, so I can’t tell whether more swelling will go down from here or whether it will stay as it is nowㅜㅜㅋㅋ I guess I’ll know after time passes. I have zero worry about ghost surgery because they put you to sleep briefly with sedation, quickly do local anesthesia then, and wake you right up. After the brief sedation, I kept talking with the director during the surgery, and they checked the line several times while I opened and closed my eyes. The downside is that it’s not a hospital with one director; there are several directors, so it has a factory-like feel. There was some waiting during the consultation too, and on the surgery day the surgery was also delayed by about 30-40 minutes. Waiting was so boring... Even before my surgery, the director seemed to have just finished someone else’s surgery before coming in, and after my surgery, they looked busy going into another surgery again. Before surgery, while I was waiting in the recovery room, someone next to me who had already finished surgery was doing a cold/warm compress, and another person came in and waited for surgery. In the end, the surgery went well so I’m satisfied, but the director did look very busy. I had been agonizing over revision surgery for almost more than 5 years and finally made up my mind to have it done, and I feel so relieved now that this long-standing issue is overㅠㅠ I don’t want to have any more cosmetic surgery now, and of course I don’t want another revision surgery, but even if I had to have revision surgery again, I’d want to have it done by Director Park Sun-hee. The director’s surgical style pursues a natural line that suits your own face rather than an unconditionally flashy and pretty line, and that matched me really well. If you want a natural style, I highly recommend her. I’m just so grateful that she performed the surgery to my satisfaction.
