Same-day review of arm liposuction!

Hello! When I was choosing a hospital, I got a lot of help from this community, so I’m writing this to help others too haha While researching online, I chose one place with lots of reviews and one place that seemed trustworthy, and went for consultations. First, the things I considered important were: 1. Safety no matter what (not pursuing extremely skinny “bone arms”) 2. A doctor with over 10 years of experience 3. A hospital specializing in liposuction 4. Price between 2 million and 3 million KRW That was it. I’m 162 cm / 54 kg, so my weight is average, but only my upper arms are bulky, so I thought I at least wanted them to look average. >>First hospital consultation review<< At first, I had no information at all, so I mainly searched reviews and booked a consultation. Apps like Gangnam Unni/Babitalk, Yeo-woo-ya cafe, liposuction cafes, etc. I picked one place that appeared often in other people’s arm liposuction lists and went for a consultation. It was a long-established hospital specializing in liposuction, and the consultant gave a very good consultation. But the reasons I didn’t choose it were... 1. No doctor consultation during the consultation visit (they said it would only be before surgery) 2. There was too much viral marketing, so it was hard to find real reviews, and trust dropped... 3. During the consultation, they kept putting down other hospitals and emphasizing that their own hospital was skilled (Confidence is good, but there’s no need to put down other hospitals...) 4. The actual review ratings in the community were not good (there were reviews about unevenness) -> By actual reviews, I mean the negative + neutral posts without photos on the hospital page in the community, and I hope you understand that this is just my personal judgment. 5. Reviews in the community said extra fees are added during the pre-surgery consultation 6. They said there have been cases where the surgeon was not the designated doctor, even though there are multiple doctors -> They said the surgery would be done by the head director, but I couldn’t trust it. If there are multiple doctors, complications can happen due to the doctor’s technique rather than how long the hospital has existed, and I felt anxious that a doctor I didn’t know might perform the surgery. For these reasons, even though I had the consultation and even booked the surgery, I canceled it. After that, I thought I should research more carefully online, and I watched a lot of YouTube videos about liposuction. Everyone’s arm shape and fat volume are different, so I thought I should filter out places that unconditionally advertise “large-volume” liposuction. It also didn’t match the look I was aiming for. >>Second hospital consultation review<< In conclusion, I chose this place and had surgery today. Since it’s the place I chose, I may have written about it more positively, so please keep that in mind. Reasons I trusted it: 1. I felt there weren’t many viral marketing comments or posts. 2. There is only one head director. 3. During the consultation, I consulted with the head director for over 30 minutes? or so. 4. I searched through every review I could find, and there were no posts about upper-arm complications; the dissatisfied posts were about not enough fat being removed. (For me, safety with absolutely no complications! was the top priority, so I could accept this kind of dissatisfaction.) 5. All the staff were kind. 6. Reviews said the scars were in places where they were hard to see, and I liked that they said they don’t overdo it, so you can raise your arms above your head on the same day. Based on the reviews, I thought the hospital director’s values and the look I was aiming for would match well, so I went thinking that if there were no strange signs during the consultation, I would do it here. The atmosphere matched what I expected during the consultation, so I booked surgery there right away. >>Same-day surgery review<< 10:00~10:20 Changed clothes, took photos, body check, etc. 10:20~11:00 Consultation with the director 11:30~13:00 Surgery 13:00~14:30 Rest and discharge (These are approximate times haha) This was my first cosmetic surgery and my first sedation anesthesia, so the director explained anesthesia in great detail and also explained things in detail while looking at my body photos. Personally, the best part was that everyone was really so kind. I was nervous, so I was very grateful...ㅠ They said they removed about 900 cc, and even now, 4 hours after surgery, I don’t really have any pain. About an hour later, I tried raising both arms overhead, and I could do it. Nice. I have to go to work right away tomorrow, and I think it’ll be totally possible. Probably... I’m also leaving this as a personal record, so I’ll bring body-change photos later~~ Emoticon of sympathy Translating Do you want to save this review? +0 This is a surgery review for a procedure pursuing a natural look.
