Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

I had revision rhinoplasty with donated costal cartilage after 26 years. Please take a look!

I had rhinoplasty 26 years ago, and little by little my nose became like Squidward’sㅎㅎ Something looked blunt at the nasal tipㅠ and I could feel something when I touched it, so from that day on I started looking around everywhere. I had consultations at 5 places only in the Gangnam area! Some were famous, and some I’d never heard of. Then I put down a deposit at one place... Hmm.. but I just got this feeling that I wanted to look into it more?...... So I searched YouTube, Instagram, Naver cafes, Gangnam Unni, and so on until my eyes were about to bleedㅋㅋㅋ Then “Lowell Plastic Surgery” caught my eye. This is the price for revision rhinoplasty? It was so reasonable that I thought, no way... I made a consultation appointment and consulted with the consultant, and huh?! That price was really correct;;;;; There weren’t even extra charges;; Unlike other places, the consultation was much longer and more detailed with the doctor than with the consultant. He didn’t just quickly read off a script and leave, but explained very thoroughly and kindly, in a way I could understand, how the surgery would be done and what materials would be good, so I had endless trust... When I said my concern was that it looked blunt, he said he would make it slimmer with cartilage suturing, replace the existing silicone in the nasal bridge, use donated costal cartilage together with ear cartilage for the nasal tip, and also perform osteotomy. Director Kim Jae-yoon explained in detail what surgical method he would use, including the 4-layer fixation method, so I trusted him. I went to the surgery alone and just came home easily by myself lol Because of the gauze packed full inside my nose, the first day was uncomfortable and I couldn’t sleep well, so I stayed up all nightㅎㅎ The next day, the moment I went in and had the gauze removed, wow!!!!!! It felt completely refreshing! I thought I could live again haha And the long-awaited day the splint came off! After the splint was removedㅠ looking at my nose for the first time, I thought, wow, it was really sculpted wellㅎㅎ I was surprised once by the very pretty line, and surprised once more by the musty smellㅋㅋㅋ Today is exactly week 3! My family and friends all say it came out so much more refined and much better, and ask if my recovery is really this fast haha But honestly, I thought revision rhinoplasty would hurt a lot, but my nose has never hurt even once... Only the place where they took ear cartilage occasionally gives a tiny prickly feeling?! I hated my long, droopy Squidward-like nose because the nasal tip sagged, but the nose length is shorter now and the lifted shape looks like the noses of young people these days (idols?ㅋㅋ) too. I usually swell really easily, but the swelling was so mild that unless I mentioned it, no one would know... Dr. Kim Jae-yoon’s skill, kindness, and delicacy were all so good, and the revision surgery cost was half of other places...... Especially with plastic surgery clinics, I’m careful about recommending them to friends, but I can confidently recommend Lowell Plastic Surgery!! During vacation in a year, I’m thinking of having my older son get a consultation and surgery at Lowell for functional rhinoplasty, narrowing the nasal width, and a slight cosmetic rhinoplasty too. haha I’ve already made up my mind, so that says it all, really.... As someone in my late 40s, I had a lot of worries about revision rhinoplasty and felt intimidated, but I’m so, so satisfieddd
