The medication prescribed by the clinic after surgery, how many days do they usually prescribe it for?? Today is my 5th day, and they only prescribed it through day 5. They say I don’t need to take any more. They said since I didn’t get an implant, it’s not really necessary, and about 5 days is enough. Will that be okay?? I had osteotomy, so I’m worried for no reason. If I had osteotomy, would it be better to take Rizaben even if the clinic doesn’t prescribe it separately? Also, I heard some clinics prescribe scar ointment, but this place doesn’t When I asked about ointment, they said I shouldn’t apply it to the scar area right now, and if I want to apply it, to do it after about a month on the visible open-incision line. Is that right?? When I look at posts here, some say to apply ointment even inside the nose, so what on earth is correct? Please let me know, everyone. Whether 5 days of antibiotics is enough, whether I should take Rizaben after osteotomy, and how I should apply ointment and what type I should apply.
