Some time has passed since my mom had eyebrow lift surgery, she got through the stabilization period well, and the result seems good, so I’m leaving a review! My mom had been saying for a while, “Why do my eyes feel so heavy these days? My eyelids keep drooping, so I can’t see well in front of me,” you know? Honestly, I hadn’t thought much of it before, but when I looked closely at my mom’s face… the area around her eyes really had sagged a lot, so she looked much more tired than before ㅠ As her eyelids covered down, her double eyelid lines were almost invisible too, and her overall impression felt a bit droopy, I guess.. As her daughter, it really upset meㅠㅠ Maybe because of that, I noticed that at some point my mom stopped doing eye makeup much and avoided taking photos. So I think I wanted to do something for her! Honestly, at first I didn’t know what she neededㅠ If it’s drooping eyelids, double eyelid surgery? Upper blepharoplasty? I thought that, but I heard people around my mom’s age often get eyebrow lifts rather than double eyelid surgery, so I had her get an eyebrow lift! On the day of surgery, my mom was nervous too, but once it was over, she said it hurt less than she expected haha Since the surgical area was above the eyebrow, there was no unnatural feeling at all, and there was some swelling for the first 2-3 days! So I changed her ice packs several times a day and diligently applied scar ointment, and the swelling almost all went down. Around 2 weeks, it became natural enough that it didn’t interfere with daily life at all! My mom was so happy too, saying it seemed less uncomfortable than before! Now her facial impression seems much brighter and more defined! The biggest change is that before, she used to put a lot of effort into opening her eyes! But now she opens them naturally without straining! And the scar I was worried about was placed along the eyebrow line, so almost no scar remained, and now it’s hard to see unless you look closely??? Maybe that’s why my mom liked it a lot! When taking photos, she started doing eye makeup again, and these days she seems much brighter than before! What my mom herself likes most is that her eyes don’t feel heavy, so daily life is much more comfortable?? And since it helped functionally too, not just cosmetically, I think it was a really good choice!!
