I live near Sinyongsan, so after narrowing things down through online research, I went for InMode consultations. This is my review.
Clinic name: ㅂㅂㅇㅇ Doctor: female doctor, solo practice Consultation details: Since I’m in my mid-20s, she said I’d likely see good results from anything. I talked about my concerns, which were cheek fat around the deep cheek area + a square jaw, and she listened well and seemed confident about the results. I was recommended InMode or Shurink. She said both would be effective and kindly explained what each one does. The doctor gave the overall procedure consultation, then based on what I discussed with the doctor, I consulted with the manager. Both the manager and doctor were kind, but the manager emphasized 3 sessions too much. (The doctor explained that even 1 session gives results, but doing 3 sessions is more about how long the effect is maintained.)
Clinic name: ㅍㅇㅇㅇ Doctor: female doctor, solo practice Consultation details: Just like the clinic above, the doctor personally did the consultation. When I told her the areas I was concerned about, she drew on my face with a white pen? and pointed out exactly what the issue was. She explained not only InMode but also other lasers together with how they work. ㅂㅂㅇㅇ recommended InMode or Shurink, but here they recommended InMode + contour injection OR Ultherapy alone. They explained the solutions for my areas of concern in more detail than the clinic above, but the cost was expensive. The clinic I wrote about above was also quite expensive for InMode, but this clinic does not perform FX and Forma modes separately, so the price was quite burdensome. (Even considering that they are done together, it was on the expensive side.) The price was very different, about double, from what I had found on blogs, so instead of InMode, I only got the contour injection procedure, which they said would be good to do together.
Conclusion: Both places were good, but ㅍㅇㅇㅇ explained things in more detail, so I chose ㅍㅇㅇㅇ. Hmm... But I’m a bit worried because I ended up getting contour injections unexpectedly.
