It has been 8 days since I had the silicone removed. The pinched feeling on both nasal sidewalls is worse than with the nose I had after surgery. I really, really hate this. It has been over 3 months since surgery, and 8 days since removing the silicone and lowering the septal support strut. If I release it as quickly as possible, will it loosen even a little? I know it won’t completely straighten out, but I hope it loosens even a little. I feel like I’m going out of my mind. I woke up at dawn from a nightmare. For those who had cartilage tying removed, what happened to that area? Please answer whether it got a bit better. I want to remove the support strut and the cartilage tying, everything. It wasn’t just the arrow-shaped nose that made me look like a witch. When I smile, the pinched nose creates a clear line, and it looks absolutely awful. I thought I could finally smile again, but as the swelling goes down, that pinched shape is coming back. Once was enough. This panic disorder is really hard. I’ve developed a frightening mental illness that I can’t control. Please don’t just pass by. Anyone who knows about this or has experienced it, please tell me your stories.
