Before/after October 2021 first chin-tip surgery October 2022 chin-tip revision surgery
It wasn't an extremely severe retruded chin, but I wanted improvement of the retruded chin and chin-tip projection that suited my face (I wanted a slightly protruding chin that could give a somewhat more masculine feel than a straight jaw, especially important from the side profile)
First surgery -The retruded-chin look became worse than before surgery -The chin tip became blunt -The chin tip did not advance -Because of scar-tissue adhesion, it sank in like an arrow (It was worse in person. This was what made me the angriest)
Revision surgery -Successful improvement of the retruded chin -Successful slight chin-tip advancement with a masculine look -The blunt feeling of the chin tip disappeared -The sunken area caused by scar-tissue adhesion was improved
I was extremely stressed because of that sunken area from scar-tissue adhesion. The director said he would try to remove it as much as possible, but said it might not be possible to make it 100% gone (he seems to be the type to be cautious). The scar tissue disappeared completely Now my chin tip has exactly the shape I had in my head. It protrudes slightly, but it doesn't have any underbite/prognathic-jaw feel at all, just enough to emphasize masculinity a little more. I really like the side profile too. There is no blunt feeling either
