Facial Surgery Reviews@face-review

4 months after cheekbone surgery with a scalp incision + square jaw surgery with an intraoral incision

Hello everyone? These days, writing here makes me feel both proud and upset at the same time. I’m not writing because I’m upset... The reason I’m writing today is because I’m in a good mood. The other day, I saw an angry comment from someone who had surgery using the same method as me but didn’t get a satisfying result, and it really hurt my feelings. I also worried, what if I end up like that too? I felt troubled for a day or two, but today a friend I hadn’t seen in a long time said, “Why do you look so much younger?” and “You got prettier,” so... I said, “Didn’t I tell you? I got some Botox on my face and I had fat grafting because I had too little facial fat...” and came back... What a proud feeling..^^ I definitely do look younger... So the mood that had been a bit down over the weekend got much better, and I’m leaving a post. Over the weekend, I looked in the mirror and thought and thought again about how my face looks now... There is definitely no sound from my cheekbone area, no uneven or bumpy step-off, and nothing has changed from before surgery when I chew food or open my mouth, so I have not the slightest doubt that it was a safe surgery. But sometimes other people upload photos after their surgery. When I look at those, how should I put it... it is not “dramatic!” I think I have to admit that. But this is also not something I can blame on the surgical method or the hospital. I refused a dramatic surgical method. I was worried my chin would become too pointed, so I asked them to shave the angles just a little. For my cheekbones too, the doctor did his best to set them in, but my face didn’t become fist-sized like Kim Tae-hee’s or anything. I guess my face before was just too wide -- (Sometimes I also think, couldn’t I have become prettier? Couldn’t it have become smaller~~ but then I turn around and think of my previous face... and realize I’m being shameless... How could I have dared to wear my hair like this before.. and I immediately back down. I think you have to compare it with your own face before. Comparing with someone else and thinking, that person got smaller, so what about me... I don’t think that’s quite right.) Even so, my facial lines have become so much softer and prettier, and along with that refined cheekbone line, I now have a lower jaw that is suitably and naturally pretty, so I am very, very satisfied. If someone had specifically said, “She had surgery... she definitely had surgery... anyone can tell that’s surgery...” then, being timid, I don’t think I could have endured it even if I had become prettier. But it’s hard to point to exactly what changed, yet I got prettier. (Since I say it was Botox, people just think it must be Botox.) My parents think they originally made me this way..ㅡㅡ; Even my boyfriend, whom I’ve dated for an insanely long time, says silly things like, “Hmm.. I’ll let you get Botox sometimes, but shaving your jaw or something... that kind of plastic surgery is not okay...” So that’s what I like about it. And... I was just happily bragging a little to other people preparing for surgery, thinking I would get prettier and prettier as the tightness/contracture loosens... but when I got a comment along the lines of “When the tightness loosens, you’ll have a hard time too,” from my position of being only 4 months post-op, I couldn’t help feeling very upset and anxious. But what can I do? So far, I’m satisfied.. However, since I suddenly became timid after that, in the private messages I receive, I now say, “Please don’t trust only what I say; look into it thoroughly, and have surgery when you yourself feel convinced.” Really, I think facial contouring surgery is a surgery that requires such a very, very long waiting time until you get the result you want. So it is not something you should judge based only on someone’s review. Go to the websites and read reviews too (at the hospital I chose, you can see reviews just by signing up - please check the blog and cafe as well - and even just reading the reviews posted there takes days and days). And keep in mind that there are also people who are dissatisfied. If there are posts like that, look carefully into why that person is dissatisfied.. then go in person, visit hospitals, meet the directors yourself, and decide. It is a major surgery that requires that. Even if you are that careful again and again, while waiting, even the slightest sound from your face makes you anxious, and you become sensitive to negative reviews. That is what this surgery is like. I don’t know when it will be (when you’re working, is it ever easy to go to Seoul for no reason at all..), but I will definitely go to the hospital. Once my appointment is set, I’ll leave a post about a week beforehand. At that time, I think you can see me in person and doubt me if you want. And... I always only talked about cheekbone surgery.. I... also had square jaw surgery. Haha To say one thing about the square jaw surgery, honestly, the part that gives the feeling that I had surgery is the scar inside my mouth. But maybe because I asked them to cut only a very small amount, now it has been 4 months and I’m crunching and eating everything, including radish kimchi. It really feels like nothing. It’s just that scar tissue inside my mouth protrudes, so there is only a slight heaviness and the inconvenience of food getting stuck.. Since it will take a while before I feel 100% satisfied with my cheekbones, I can’t conclude my cheekbone story yet, but for the square jaw... I already saw the bone that was cut out right after surgery, so I can say this with some confidence.. It is true that they are really good at surgery. If they’re good, I say they’re good. What else would I say.. I think my recovery is faster because I didn’t choose a dramatic surgery. (They didn’t cut a lot.) I don’t really know whether people who did otherwise need a longer recovery period or what, but I think their results will probably be satisfying as soon as they see them. Anyway, this is how I’m doing... ^^ That was from one person writing this with confidence, hair tucked behind the ears. I’ll write again next time when I feel like writing~
