It’s now day 5 after the surgery. Even though my cheekbones are definitely very swollen, they still feel sunken in. My jaw feels like a blowfish, with only my lips puffed up, while my cheeks are swollen and firm like they’re overfilled. I think I’ll only be able to tell the line once the swelling goes down. Right now I can’t judge anything because of the swelling. After the surgery, until day 2, I was really miserable because of the phlegm and the stitches pulling, but by day 3 the phlegm had subsided somewhat. Still, it aches a bit every time I use the compression strap. So I keep loosening and tightening the compression strap, but do other people’s straps also ache like this? It feels like a wisdom-tooth toothache near the molars. It’s really hard to become pretty. The cost, the time, the pain, I mean~
