First of all, it was a hospital where it was hard to book a consultation. I was lucky that a slot opened up, so I had the consultation quickly, but they said that if I hadn’t been able to do it that day, I would have had to wait until around August. The hospital facilities were clean and felt modern, and the consultation with the consultant wasn’t very long, so I was able to go straight into the director’s consultation. The director asked me to explain what my concerns were, then suggested a direction based on that. While looking at the CT, they explained in detail that certain parts would be difficult, that it was a difficult surgery, that improvement up to about this degree could be possible, and so on. I liked the careful feeling of them continuing to look at my face and point things out one by one. And when the director showed me photos of surgeries they had performed, I could feel their pride. Since I wanted surgery without an implant, I thought the result could be satisfying, so I was satisfied with the consultation itself. However, for the nasal tip material, they recommended autologous costal cartilage, and although surgery without an implant is difficult, they kept speaking in a way that gave the sense that they could do it well, which I liked. But since it’s my first revision surgery and it was too expensive.. I think I’m hesitating. If the price had been a little better, I think I would have done it here.
