Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

Incisional double eyelid + ptosis correction / nasal tip + nasal bridge (implant) + bulbous nose correction

<Before surgery><After surgery><After 7 days><After one month>I didn’t have a nasal bridge, so after worrying about it for 3 years, I finally decided and had surgery. My eyes originally had double eyelids, but a few months ago extra folds started forming and one side kept becoming an inner double eyelid, so since I was doing my nose, I did my eyes too. (During the consultation, I said I wanted my nose to have a straight-to-curved line and a nasal bridge, and for my eyes, my original double eyelids were in-out, and semi-out or outline wouldn’t suit me, so we decided on in-out with the double eyelids slightly larger than before. When designing on the day of surgery, the eyes were the same as during the consultation, and for the nose, the director asked whether to focus mainly on the nasal bridge or make the nasal bridge match the nasal tip, so I said please make the nasal bridge match the nasal tip, but I would like some bridge height. It was like that. During both the consultation and design, the director held the eye line for me, starting from number 1 to maybe number 4 or 5, making it gradually lower. He was meticulous and kind, so I trusted him and liked it.) On the day of surgery, I think I entered the operating room more calmly and less nervous than expected haha After the eye surgery ended, I went under full sedation, and when I woke up, I was on the recovery room bed with an ice pack on, but I had no memory of it, so it was fascinating. After finishing recovery and being discharged, maybe because it had been over 3 hours since doing my eyes, only my eyes throbbed, and my nose and ear didn’t hurt. (Because my nose was packed, my nose felt kind of acrid? because of that.) On the day of surgery, there was no bruising, but my eyes were very swollen. Around 8 p.m., my nose was blocked but runny nose kept starting, but I didn’t want to swallow it, so I spat it out and changed the gauze in front of my nose with some I had at home. (From this point on, the runny nose was chaotic....) When sleeping, I stacked two pillows and slept with my upper body a bit elevated, and there was pumpkin juice in the paper bag I received when leaving the hospital, so I drank it. (After seeing the pumpkin juice, I immediately ordered it on Coupang and drank it for a month, but I don’t know if it was effective.) On the morning of Day 1, my ear started throbbing. (But it hurt briefly and then stopped. I must have touched it while sleeping. I was worried because people say after nose surgery, the ear hurts a lot more than the nose... but except when I woke up, it was okay.) From that evening, the blocked nose was so frustrating that I couldn’t sleep well, and at dawn I kept pacing around the living room anxiously, just waiting for the next day. (This was the hardest time.) On Day 2, the cotton inside my nose was finally removed, and I felt like I could live. (I did not want to experience this twice..) On Day 7, the splint was removed and the stitches were taken out, and they said the nasal bridge was very swollen and told me to do warm compresses a bit more. (Originally I was going to stop because it was annoying from then on.. but even to me it looked very swollen, so I consistently did warm compresses morning and evening for about 4 weeks.) Now a month has passed, and my nose isn’t crooked, people around me say the nose line looks good, and I also think it’s okay.
