Hello. I had always been going back and forth between eye surgery reviews and the Q&A board in a community to answer my questions, and now I’m posting like this; I had full-incision double eyelid surgery + fat removal on August 10. It’s been a little over a month now, and I get stressed every time I look in the mirror. My two eyes are unevenㅠ; Before surgery, my eyes were subtly different, but it was mild enough that you wouldn’t know unless you looked closely. I didn’t know it would turn out like this. My left eye (right side in the photo) has more mucosal eversion compared with the other side, and maybe because of that, the eye opens wider. When I put on makeup, it looks like the eyeliner isn’t filled in, and even the eyeshadow filled up to the double eyelid line doesn’t show. It’s like an inner double eyelid;;; My right eye (left side in the photo) still has more swelling than the left, and the line is slightly bigger too. During surgery, they operated on the right side first, and compared with the left side, there was more bleeding.... Maybe because of the swelling, when I open my eye, the iris isn’t fully visible. Since the condition of both eyes is this different, I put on makeup and took a photo, then was shocked because they looked way too different.. I get stressed every time I look in the mirror. They were already uneven from when the stitches were removed, so I told the clinic, but they said there’s nothing they can do right now and that we should wait two or three months, so I’m going in October to check the progress. For those of you who have experience with double eyelid surgery, how does it look??? Will it get better with time? I’m scared it might not be swelling but another issue, and that my eyes will stay unevenㅠㅠ
