Hello. I'm not a great writer, but I'll try writing a review~ First of all, my nickname had been panda since my teens... that's how bad my dark circles really were. When I was young, even if I wanted to fix my dark circles, I couldn't because my parents were paying, but after I started working and saved money, I was able to get dark circle surgery~ First, I was told that my under-eye area was hollow and that a slight fat layer showed when I smiled, so I had under-eye fat removal and fat grafting~ I thought it was a simple surgery and went in without thinking much, but the pain was worse than I expected..ㅜ On the day of surgery, I couldn't see swelling or bruising, maybe because of the tape. After the anesthesia wore off, I only had a throbbing feeling. On the day of surgery, it didn't feel tight or swollen~ The next day, the under-eye area where I had fat grafting was okay, but my thigh hurt because of the fat injection. They took the fat from my thigh area ㅜ Aside from when I bent my head down and the thigh pain, it was bearable. My thigh felt a little soft and squishy because of the fat grafting haha Oh, and after the surgery, the consultant said swelling peaks on day 3, and that was true..ㅜ On day 3, it swelled up really tight..;;;; On the third day, I could see a little yellow bruising under the tape, so it seemed like the bruising was gradually getting bigger, and my face was so swollen with the tape on that it felt like my face might burst..ㅜ My face was so swollen that I was worried, and the pain was a bit bad too, so I felt like I could barely manage only if I kept it cold, so I kept doing cold compresses! I think I practically lived with a cold pack on I heard that moving around helps the swelling go down faster, so I walked for an hour every night. Maybe because of that, the feeling that my face might burst definitely got better the day after surgery.^^ I'm now in week 2 after dark circle surgery, and the swelling has gone down a lot compared to before. First of all, I'm relieved because my eye shape seems to be gradually returning to how it used to be. I don't know if it was because of the swelling, but should I say the inner corners of my eyes had changed to look a bit sharp... anyway, that sharp feeling has mostly disappeared, and I'm gradually going back to my old appearance~ I asked about the swelling, and they said I tend to have a bit more swelling and bruising than others..ㅜ But they also said it varies from person to person~ I think I just need to take my time and wait a little longer..ㅜㅎ Anyway, the hollow under-eye look that made me seem like a panda has improved a lot too. Before, it looked a bit sunken because there was no volume, but now it definitely feels like the volume is filling in. At the moment, I'm satisfied because I look better than before, and I have to go later for a fat grafting retouch, but I don't think it's quite time to go yet. I'll show you before-and-after photos!
