Pretty Mentor Extra review (325/375)

It had already been a year since I started looking up reviews from everyone here, while thinking about breast surgery. About six months after the surgery, I feel like I’m finally settling into a stable phase, so I’m finally sharing my review! First [Specs] - 160 cm / 50 kg - Chest circumference 67 - Flat chest with little upper-body fat - (Before surgery) 70A → (After surgery) 65E / 70D - Mentor Extra left 325, right 375 - Dual-plane / armpit incision [Reason] Honestly, I had a strong perception that breasts were a major surgery for me, so I didn’t have the confidence to keep relying on inserts and medicine and actually go through with surgery. But last year I lost a lot of weight and hit my lowest point in life, and at the same time, people around me, including my mom, kept saying things like “wear inserts,” “it would be nice if you had just a little more volume,” and so on ^_ㅠ In the end, while looking through reviews everywhere in the spring and summer of last year, I decided I should get the surgery before it got even later. [Consultation] When you read reviews, you start seeing which hospitals’ designs suit you and then book consultations, right? Because I live in the provinces, I thought I should go around and finish everything in one day, so I booked three places, including one recommended by an acquaintance, and went around them all (in my heart I wanted to do five, but my stamina couldn’t keep up..ㅠ) As I went around, I could tell the atmosphere and personality of each hospital. Some places had a really kind doctor but a not-so-great consultation manager, or some were way too expensive for my budget.. I went to consultations with my younger sister. Since she works at a dermatology clinic, she was also helpful during the consultation. In the end, the hospital I chose was the one my sister felt good about and that my acquaintance had recommended. [Why I chose the hospital] - Professional consultations from kind managers - The head doctor’s firm surgical philosophy and design - 1:1 with the doctor before and after surgery - Consultation available anytime via KakaoTalk - Unlimited aftercare - A friend’s vivid review and ..the feelㅋㅋㅋ [Best things after the surgery] - Now, even when I wear clothes, the volume looks beautiful without inserts - I no longer have to cry over empty bras - I can wear a bikini confidently - Confidence and self-satisfaction ★★★★★ [Review] I got the consultation in August and had surgery in November, so now it’s really been 6 months. It felt so slow, like time was dragging on forever, but now the cold-wind season has passed and midsummer is approaching. First - Surgery day The surgery went cleanly and beautifully without a drain bag (very important) To wake up from general anesthesia, I kept remembering Pilates breathing and worked hard to take deep breaths. After I successfully peed for the first time, I ate the orange-flavored lollipop the manager gave me, finished the remaining IV fluids, and was discharged the same day. After the surgery, they put the short-sleeve shirt I had prepared on me, right? They put the corrective bra on over it, wrapped me in bandages, and I think I came out of the operating room like that, and was discharged that way. As I said, I’m from the provinces, so I stayed in Seoul until the third day, when the bandages were removed, after booking a hotel. On the same day, maybe because I was still under the effect of anesthesia, I didn’t feel much pain at all, just a bit sleepy and heavy? - Day 2 I already knew there was no such thing as winning the lottery in my life, but even the painkiller lottery I had hoped for didn’t happen ^_ㅠ It felt so heavy and painful, like I had a huge rock sitting on me, and I didn’t even have the strength to get up from bed on my own, so my mom became my two hands ㅠ ㅎ Maybe because I’m the type to exaggerate pain a lot, it really hurt like crazy. But when I looked in the mirror? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I just laughed. Even with the bandages on, there was at least a mound there. How should I put it, I was just so pleased... you know what I mean? - Day 3 I went to the hospital, had the bandages removed, got my prescription, and came back down home. The pain peaked on day 3, and the taxi driver taking me from the hotel to the hospital was going over speed bumps like crazy, so I seriously thought I was going to die. It wasn’t so much that my chest hurt, but more that my back and waist hurt. - Day 4 Because of the anesthesia swelling, my legs turned into elephant legs. Above the chest, meaning areas like the chest, shoulders, and face, there wasn’t swelling, but the swelling kept moving downward below the chest, so a sausage-like swelling appeared around the panty lineㅋㅋㅋㅋ It went beyond just being swollen, to feeling heavy and painful, and when I sat on the toilet and stood up, every bit of skin touching anything hurt. It got to the point where I was dragging my legs around, with my weight going up to +7 kg. - Weeks 1 and 2 I took a week off work and rested well, then started going out again after the one-week follow-up. I went to Seoul and back fine for the 1-week and 2-week follow-up appointments. Because it was dual-plane with an armpit incision, I was still scared to lift anything heavy, so family members who came with me carried everything, and I went around like a princess being protected by bodyguardsㅋㅋㅋ Ah, the upper band started from week 2. - Day 17 My weight, which seemed like it would never go down, finally started dropping steadily. Because of the swelling, I wasn’t even paying attention to breast shape or capsular contracture; my only biggest concern was really the weight of the swelling; I was like, no one in the reviews said it would swell this muchㅠ - Day 23 Weight returned to normal. I shouted hallelujah. - Day 25 I started driving. I love my dad so much for driving me to and from work all this time. Other people say wearing the corrective bra is inconvenient, but for me, the inconvenience of not being able to drive for a while because of the dual-plane surgery was bigger than the corrective bra itself. If you drive, or if you’re a provincial office worker with no subway, you’ll understand...ㅠ Ah, because the doctor said that since I have so little upper-body fat and a flat chest, I shouldn’t lose weight and should actually gain some instead, I’ve been using that as an excuse to eat hard, too^^ I’m still maintaining around 50 kg. By the way, why is it so hard to find bras for a small chest but large cup sizes;; Right now I wear V-Fit 65G / Qmomo 65I / Nike S, and if there’s anyone with a similar build among you, please share which underwear brands you wear..! Oh dear, I don’t seem to have written much from the middle onward; I think I got well used to wearing the new cash item, and kept going to the hospital for care and follow-up appointments! Anyway, I’m the type who worries a lot about health, so during the first one or two months I lived carefully with help from my family, and there were no problems, and I was lucky that my coworkers were considerate at work. And because the surgery went so cleanly, there was almost no bruising, and since I followed the precautions they told me about, it seems to be settling in beautifully! And really, the best thing is to only do what the hospital tells you to do, and not do what they tell you not to do, while receiving proper aftercare. But my skin type is on the thick side, so for natural softness, the skin stretching will take a bit longer than for other people, so I’m waiting patiently up to a year, while also massaging at home and getting care at the hospital. In that sense, Pretty has unlimited aftercare, so getting radiofrequency massage every time I go is so nice! The feel becomes softer every time, and it really feels amazing, but as someone living far from Seoul, I just wish I could go more oftenㅠ Oh, and someone said this: get surgery when you’re even one year younger. And as you all know, that really is true.. If I had had the surgery even one year earlier, my physical recovery would probably have been faster...! Breast surgery wasn’t just a cosmetic procedure for me, it was a surgery that raised my confidence and self-esteem, and I’m honestly so, so satisfied!!! To Director Yoon Hong-sang and the managers at Pretty Plastic Surgery, who helped me finish the surgery well and settle beautifully, I’m only full of gratitude ,,☆ LOV that thing
