Other than the axis of my natural nose being slightly deviated (the kind of asymmetry everyone has, not severe), everything was symmetrical, so why do all the doctors who operate on me shove things in crookedly? I’m so, so pissed. How am I supposed to wait 6 months? And what about the condition of my nose? Other people here get revision surgery because they’re simply unhappy with the shape, but for me, my perfectly fine nose just got ruined, so I keep thinking, why is it only me, why, why.. ha.. If it were symmetrical, at least it would look neat, but there’s no answer for asymmetry.. everyone, aesthetics are important too, but get surgery from a doctor who matches symmetry obsessively well.. I had mine done by a doctor who was supposed to be good at symmetry, and it still ended up like this, so I guess luck can’t be ignored either.. lol ㅠㅠㅠㅠ

익 [@] No no, I know because I’ve gone through severely botched asymmetry surgery twice, but if the moment the splint comes off the reaction is, “It’s really crooked…?” “It’s extremely uneven…?” then it’s a completely botched surgery. Still, since it can vary by person, I’ll add this: Week 2: overall swelling has gone down and it’s the stage where detailed swelling is going down 1 month: if the asymmetry is still extremely severe at this point, they basically inserted the implant crookedly So watch until around day 12, and if it seems seriously bad, call the clinic quickly and get early correction. If you’re worried about damaging the nose, then get revision surgery after 6 months
Lalaby But when you got revision surgery, did they do more than just reinsert the silicone?? I’m asking because I’m curious, since if they didn’t touch the columella, it seems like the nasal tip wouldn’t become crooked during revision. And asymmetry can be really varied, so the angle of the facial surface (nasal tilt) can also be different… + In that case, if everything is asymmetrical from the back of the head onward, since they insert it while you’re lying down, the doctor may think it’s straight but end up inserting it crookedly. I like everything else too, but I’m a bit worried because of slight asymmetry.
