After the removal surgery, I had a really hard time mentally for the 3 days until the tape was removed. Once in a while my nose felt tight, and I felt a foreign-body sensation at the nasal tip... and reading posts in this community made me even more scared sometimes. I was most scared when I was falling asleep. Because I couldn't sleep, I watched TV until late... Since I needed to sleep well to heal quickly, I thought, I should hurry and sleep... but when I actually tried to sleep, the inside of my nose felt stuffy and breathing through my nose was uncomfortable, so I became even more afraid of falling asleep. I also practiced breathing through my mouth... After the removal surgery, I had so much nasal discharge. It ran continuously for about one or two hours. After that, the mucus inside my nose dried and stuck, which made it hard to breathe. My husband was afraid he might touch my nose... and also said I needed to rest well to recover quickly... so he stayed at his parents' house for about 5 days. I felt really sorry to my husband, but I did get good rest. And after removing the tape... it was the first time I was that scared to look at my face. I took medication for 5 days after surgery... then gradually washed my face lightly like a cat wash... and now it's been 8 days. Maybe it's the calm in the eye of the storm... but there are really no changes at all... my nose is soft, with no tightness and no foreign-body sensation. The nasal bridge has lowered slightly, so it looks natural... Except for occasionally putting something warm on my face, everything is very peaceful. I do have anxiety about what if my nose suddenly becomes hard at some point... but even that is gradually fading. Oh, and from day 3 after the removal surgery... my stomach hurt and I had diarrhea, like an upset stomach. Even though I only ate fresh things and only ate food that had just been made... it was like that for about 4 days, but now I'm okay. I think it may have been because of the medication I took after surgery. Like 0
