Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

Day 2 after removal surgery for septal cartilage, nasal cartilage, and silicone

I had removal surgery yesterday. I had everything completely removed. I felt like I would have lingering attachment if anything was left, so I had it all completely removed and I plan to stop thinking about my nose anymore. I entered the operating room at 10:30 a.m., and after the surgery, when I came to the recovery room, it was around 12:10. The surgery was done under sedation, and the removal was done through an open approach. The original surgery was also done through an open approach, and the removal was also done through an open approach. First, they untied the cartilage that had been tied, removed the septal support, removed the ear cartilage that had been placed, and removed the silicone from the nasal bridge. Right now, I think they put cotton inside both nostrils, so they are completely blocked, and just like during surgery, I am breathing only through my mouth. It feels stuffy until the cotton is removed, and above all, the pain right now is no joke. There is a dull, aching pain, and it feels like I was hit hard once in the nose with a fist. It is stuffy, and now 2 days have passed, so I think I will go get the cotton removed tomorrow. As for the shape, it is taped right now so I cannot check what it looks like. As for the feeling, right after surgery, my nose felt a little lighter, but now the pain is so severe that I cannot really feel it. I think the pain after anesthesia wears off is worse for removal than for the original surgery. In my case, still, once I recover and return to normal life, I guess I will no longer have any lingering attachment to my nose. After I go to the hospital tomorrow, if I have time, I will leave another review.
