I’m 9 months post-op from a behind-the-ear square jaw reduction. It’s a place that most people would know if you mention behind-the-ear square jaw surgery. They said it was very simple, but I thought I was going to die from the pain.. Because of the pain, I couldn’t sleep for days and cried. It may vary from person to person, but for me, the effect is not very noticeable. When viewed from the side, my jaw still looks square. I developed side effects from the surgery. After the surgery, I developed temporomandibular joint problems, and I’m suffering because of the pain. Honestly, sometimes I even think I want to die.. I’m trying to get treatment at a university hospital, but they say the cost is no small amount. I think it will be several times the cost of the behind-the-ear square jaw surgery. When I think about the surgical process, I feel like it’s only natural that side effects occurred. The hospital I went to really felt like they were doing everything carelessly. They were nice only during the first consultation, but the surgery was careless and the follow-up care was careless too. If the surgery had at least gone well, maybe it would be different, but there’s no effect, and on top of that, I don’t know what they touched incorrectly, but I ended up with side effects too. It’s honestly unbearable ㅜㅜ Anyway, if I could turn back time, I really wish I had decided more carefully and checked once again whether it was a safe hospital.. I regret it so much. Please be really careful when choosing a hospital.
