It was a consultation for lowering the line in revision of revision surgery, and they said to do it with the two-line technique. The doctor was very kind (long consultation). However, when I was unsure and went one more time (4 days later, including the weekend), the doctor didn’t remember the first consultation well and did bring the memory back by looking at the notes.. but the content was a bit different.
1st consultation: Let’s do the two-line technique!! 2nd consultation: (When I said another hospital said excision was possible) Did I clearly tell you the two-line technique? I think both excision and the two-line technique are possible~ The exact amount of skin laxity can be checked only after entering the operating room and looking. I don’t unconditionally recommend excision! (There had been a case before where the eyes wouldn’t close after doing it by excision..) Once you excise, that’s final, so we’ll do the two-line technique, and if scar excision is possible, we’ll proceed with that~ (???)
I asked very detailed questions, and the doctor answered for a long time without seeming bothered at all. I’m really grateful for that.
They expected the surgery time to be 1 hour to 1 and a half hours, and said they would go in, make an incision, release adhesions, combine the possible methods, and perform the surgery so the result is not obvious, the line is lowered, and the eyes look pretty.
They said my eyes are not difficult eyes. But at another hospital, they said it didn’t need to go as far as the two-line technique and that we should do only 2 mm by excision, so I was really conflicted..!
In the end, I decided to do it here, but there are some bad reviews in the premium reputation section.. so I’m still debating until the very last moment..
The consultant was kind, but.. there was a little pressure to book the same day and a liiittle pressure about the review event, and the price was significantly higher than other hospitals!
