It was a re-consultation for a revision of revision eye surgery with the head director, and I went for lowering the line (improving sausage eyelids). He said we should excise only 2 mm with an incisional method, and that he didn’t think it needed to go as far as the two-line technique. He said the two-line technique can be done after excision, but excision is difficult after doing the two-line technique... I’m not sure why....???
The price wasn’t high, and there was no review discount, only a same-day booking discount.
The consultation time was short.. He marked the line once. It wasn’t extremely detailed.
When I asked, “If it’s excision, how does it go in?” he said it’s a bit difficult to explain, but basically skin between the existing double eyelid and the new double eyelid is excised and made into one line. He did say the eyes should close well..!
I did decide to have surgery at another hospital with the two-line technique.. Because I thought, if after the two-line technique I end up with 2 lines, wouldn’t excising the area between those 2 lines make it into one? This is only my personal thought!!! (My eyes are not completely without extra skin.)
