Eye Side Effects@eye-sideeffect

Double eyelid surgery failed, side effects in both eyes, ending with a refund

<Eyelid><Outer eye corner> Six months after surgery, an inclusion cyst suddenly formed at the surgical site. At first I thought it was just swelling, but it kept getting more painful and it became uncomfortable to open my eye, so I went back to the clinic. I did get seen, but they only wrote a handwritten prescription without any official record. They said the inflammation wasn't severe, but the medication included antibiotics, and I also had an overseas schedule a few days later, so I was personally really flustered. I heard that once an inclusion cyst forms, it can keep recurring, and in some cases it eventually even leads to removal surgery, but I never heard any explanation about this kind of side effect before or after the surgery. At the clinic, the lump at the outer corner of my eye was not acne, but they pierced it with a needle and squeezed it out, repeating that 3 times. The doctor was like, “Ah, this isn’t coming out. Bring me some scar-tissue injection.” Then they gave me a triamcinolone injection. I don’t know if it’s because of the squeezing, but what used to be only millet-sized has now become a huge lump.. The clinic now says they’ll refund me, but they won’t cover revision surgery costs. For reference, the refund wasn’t what I wanted; they’re giving it because they said they can’t do anything more for me^^.... Isn’t that so irresponsible? I went to three places: an ophthalmology clinic, dermatology clinic, and plastic surgery clinic, but none of them would treat me. They wrote me a referral and said it seems like I’d have to go to a university hospital ophthalmology department to be treated. They said it’s not something that can be treated at a regular clinic.. I also went because an acquaintance had it done there and it turned out well, but this happened. I hope everyone turns out pretty. Don’t end up like me..
