It’s been a little over a year since I had double eyelid surgery. First of all, the most uncomfortable side effect is that when I sleep, my eyes only close about 80%, so I developed dry eye syndrome. Dry eye syndrome may seem mild, but if you never had it and then get it, it’s really uncomfortable. When I wake up in the morning, my eyes are dry, so they hurt and feel gritty, and it’s hard to close and open them. Also, I had ptosis correction because I heard that if you get it, you won’t open your eyes with your forehead, but I’m still opening them with my forehead. It makes me wonder, was the ptosis correction really done well? It could be an issue with the clinic I went to, but my friends around me also said ptosis correction doesn’t seem to have much meaning. For me, not being able to close my eyes is really the most uncomfortable thing. (To the point that I want to go back to before I had it done.) Everyone, even if you want to become prettier, never get surgery to the point where your eyes don’t close fully. It’s seriously uncomfortable and painful, and it also looks strange.. Think carefully before getting surgery!! I’m going to have revision surgeryㅠㅠ
쭈꾸미파티 When you open your eyes, do they open too artificially?? I mean whether they don’t close when you sleep
ㅇㅇ공ㅇ [@] For me, they don’t open artificially; they just don’t close when I sleepㅠㅠ
오리빵oo [@ㅇㅇ공ㅇ] ㅠㅠI see. I feel like it would be hard if they don’t close, so I’m curious whether you always have a pulling sensation
ㅇㅇ공ㅇ [@오리빵oo] When I close and open my eyes without putting in effort, I feel a pulling sensation. Since my eyes don’t close, I get dry eye syndrome, and the eye fatigue is no joke…
