Nose before surgery = bulbous nose with a blunt nasal tip, wide nostrils, low nasal bridge I had wanted to get rhinoplasty since after puberty, but I was very scared and my mom strongly opposed it, so I just lived with it. After entering university, I tried getting fillers too, but the bulbous nose itself didn’t go away. I dissolved all the filler I had gotten back then and eventually ended up having surgery. I also have rhinitis, so while getting bulbous nose surgery, I wanted to get functional rhinoplasty as well, so I went for consultations at places with good reviews for functional rhinoplasty too. After getting consultations at several clinics, I could kind of feel which place I should have surgery at, you know? After consulting with Director Han Daehee, I came home that day and booked the surgery right away. On the day of surgery, I went alone to get it done, but the director and consultant told me not to worry and took good care of me, so it was definitely manageable to go alone. As for post-op pain, while waking up from anesthesia and dozing on and off, it hurt a bit for about two days, and during the period when I had the splint on, it was a little hard not being able to wash up refreshingly haha I’m the type who swells a lot even if I just drink something late at night, so I was worried I’d swell a lot, but it wasn’t as much as I expected. There was quite a bit of swelling in the beginning, and after about 2-3 weeks, time took care of the swelling haha. The bruising turned yellow after about a week and naturally faded. Since raising the nasal tip naturally reduced the nostril width too, I don’t think I feel like my nostrils are wide anymore~ It’s been exactly one month since my rhinoplasty, but I wanted to upload a review quickly, so I’m posting it with photos. Once more swelling goes down and it becomes more natural, I’ll try to leave another review? I’m so happy that my bulbous nose and rhinitis, which were always complexes for me, have definitely improved~!
