I really think it’s better to remove it only after the tissue has healed a bit.... It’s completely numb and tingling.... I had septal extension and osteotomy. The doctor used Medpor for the support strut however he wantedㅜㅜ (Of course this is just my thought, but when he showed me the removed septal cartilage, it was extremely small....) It made me wonder if maybe there actually wasn’t much septal cartilage taken, and they just removed and showed it to me during the removal surgery.... They said they wouldn’t put cotton packing in... but they did put it inㅜㅜ Bleeding heavily like the first surgery... Anyway, for the septal extension part, I had only half removed, and the support strut was completely removed. Now all I can do is take care of it and trust the heavens.... To those who have had removal and those planning it, fighting!!!!!
