Eye Surgery Reviews@eye-review

Machimpyo community review

I used to just occasionally wonder whether or not to get double eyelid surgery and lived normally (aside from going to consultations a very long time ago), but recently I started seriously looking into clinics, and this was the first clinic I went to for a consultation. They recommended only the non-incisional method, which was what I wanted, so I liked that, but since it was my first consultation, I wondered if that was really all I needed, so I asked whether I didn’t need ptosis correction or canthoplasty haha. Then they said canthoplasty wasn’t necessary, and ptosis correction could be done if I wanted. Like other reviews said, they searched patient names and showed similar cases one by one, so it was easy to understand. I have protruding eyes with fat/sagging, so they said if I got greedy with the line, it could easily turn into a sausage-like double eyelid. My natural eyes were uneven, with an inner double eyelid where the thickness showed/almost monolid-looking eyes; they said the larger eye should be kept similar to now, and the other eye could be operated on to match it.. Up to this point, I agreed and it matched the look I was pursuing, so I was nodding along, but at the end they held one line for me, and it felt a bit ambiguous. Since it was my first consultation, the analysis of my eyes was long, and because I quickly heard the answer I had wanted, there were awkward pauses in between (around 5 seconds or so..), but they only held one line, and then it suddenly ended a bit vaguely. (+I remembered this after seeing other reviews, but they suddenly said, “Please wait a moment..” and left the consultation room, so I didn’t know the consultation was over hahaha.. I think they do that so it’s less awkward for the patient to get up first, but it might be better not to do that..) If your eyes aren’t what people call extremely difficult eyes, I think they guide the direction well during the consultation. After getting surgery, I feel that the line is what’s really important in choosing a clinic, but there was somewhat of a feeling that they glossed over it verbally.. They were kind and fine, but I think I need to be careful about feeling too much one-sided familiarity just because it’s a doctor I’ve seen a lot on YouTube.
